Valuations

We provide valuations for all types of vessels utilised by the offshore oil & gas, offshore renewable, subsea mining and international submarine telecom installation and maintenance markets.

Our valuations vary from individual vessels or fleet valuations through to very specific projects supporting importation, salvage claims, stock market flotations and rights issues, taxation, insurance and financing proposals.

As a rule, valuations are made on a charter free basis where a vessel or unit is maintained according to best practice and meets class rules; however, in some cases clients have requested valuations including charter revenues for the firm periods of a charter which can be undertaken in certain circumstances.

Also, clients have requested the inclusion of a physical inspection of the vessel in the valuation process. In this instance, we are able to make arrangements for one of our third party surveyors to visit the vessel and produce a detailed written report.
